Youth (Lead)ership Roundtable Discussion
A dynamic and interactive session where youth voices take the lead.
Marking the 30th anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth, the United Nations in the State of Kuwait is hosting Youth Leadership Roundtables worldwide. Centered around " Accelerating Global and National Progress through intergenerational collaboration. The discussion aims to drive the SDGs progress based on Youth insights, priorities and recommendations.

This discussion is a theatre-based approach to facilitating a UN #YouthLead(ership) Roundtable on the theme of Sustainable Cities. Using interactive improvisation, this roundtable will bring together youth and UN leaders to co-create actionable solutions for urban challenges, aligned with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), Youth2030, and the Pact for the Future. Our approach is grounded in the UN guidance note principles: youth-informed, solution-focused, intergenerational, and action-oriented. The session will harness creative expression to empower youth voices, generate tangible outputs, and leave participants energized and committed to shared action.
2. Objectives
1. Surface Youth Priorities through live improv scenes based on real urban challenges.
2. Enable Intergenerational Dialogue where youth and UN leaders co-create solutions.
3. Produce Tangible Outcomes including documented recommendations, commitments, and a visual media output.
