SHE: SDG 5 Women Empowerment and the Economy - Kuwait Women's Day
A short documentary joint collaboration between the United Nations and the Ministry of Information to highlight Women Economic Empowerment: SDG5 Opportunities and Challenges with the aim of spreading awareness about the goals of sustainable development and their role in achieving the vision of a new Kuwait, and special focus on Goal 5 on gender equality and a sustainable diversified economy. It is not just a basic human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.
A documentary film for Kuwaiti Women’s Day was produced and shown in cooperation between the United Nations and the Ministry of Information in the State of Kuwait. We shed light on women’s economic empowerment and the economic aspect through dialogues and interviews with a group of important Kuwaiti personalities, while highlighting Kuwait’s developmental role in supporting and empowering women in Kuwait in this field.
The economic sector, which would support the building of an effective society and the effective role of women in building society and the economy of a country from the public and private sectors, civil society organizations and concerned parties in the field of women.
